Engagement and Opportunities Team Member - AH
Job description
Key Targets:
- Engage at least 50 unique students with 200 engagement points in the academic year
- Curate programme of 10-12 small/medium reoccurring events on campus during each term
- Collaborate with peers to deliver 1 larger scale events
- Work with different projects to deliver cross departmental activities such as Give It A Go, GSU move and other GSU initiatives
- Support our Sports programme through admin
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be an ambassador for the project, positively promoting it and the range of opportunities available to students on campus.
- Work with the Campus Engagement Manager to effectively market activities.
- Recruit and retain participants to the activities.
- Help develop, promote and run activities and events to ensure high levels of participation.
- This will involve attending sessions, coordinating set-up and delivering safe activity.
- When required, assisting coaches or facilitators with other project delivery.
- Be receptive to new opportunities and ideas for increasing participation.
- Collect project data including participant numbers, details, feedback, comments, photographs, and reporting findings.
- Provide regular updates to the Campus Engagement Manager.
- Undertake such other tasks as may be necessary to achieve the objectives.
- To carry out administrative duties for GSU and other departments at GSU discretion.
- Assist with key events in the Engagement and opportunities calendar; Varsity and Awards.
- Assist with Welcome week providing engaging activity and welcoming students to Avery Hill.
